MAPCO2 Buoy at La Parguera Marine Reserve

Ocean Gliders: Improving Atlantic Hurricane Season Forecasts

Fourteen ocean gliders were deployed in the Caribbean and tropical Atlantic to collect subsurface data aiding hurricane forecasts. The effort, led by CARICOOS, NOAA-AOML, and partners, marks a major expansion in regional ocean monitoring.
