IMOS recovered its first Biogeochemical Argo floats after 4 years and ~150 profiles each. The data supports ocean carbon research, acidification studies, and satellite validation. Floats will be redeployed to continue monitoring.

National data infrastructure serves up in-situ wave observations

Update from Queensland’s IMOS Acoustic Telemetry Array

IMOS has expanded its acoustic telemetry array along Queensland’s coast, enabling tracking of 812 marine animals and 2M+ detections to inform conservation, fisheries, and shark safety through better understanding of species movements.
