Vehicle in the Vent Plume

On 20 May 2014, SONAR data from COVIS revealed hydrothermal plumes at Grotto vent as ROPOS surveyed North Tower. The study aimed to identify the dominant acoustic backscatter source—particles or temperature—using water samples and temperature profiles.
