Oceanographic Engineers
Oceanographic Engineers are involved in the deployment, recovery and servicing of a wide range of oceanographic instrumentation
from rigs and vessels in water depths of up to 3,500m. In addition, oceanographic engineers are responsible for commissioning,
installation and maintenance of real-time measurement systems, comprised of both oceanographic and meteorological sensors.
This type of role provides excellent opportunities to travel worldwide. Length of offshore work is project dependant.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: An HND or above in electronic engineering. Alternatively a BSc or above in oceanography or marine science supplemented by formal training in electronic engineering.
